Meredith Finch launches Kickstarter Campaign for The Book of Ruth
Meredith Finch is an inspiring Canadian artist and writer, who has created some of comic’s most iconic female heroine characters. She has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds and support for her new project entitled ‘The Book of Ruth’, and she is welcoming generous backing for the project. The goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise a sum of CA$ 30,000, and the writer is offering several great rewards for the backers.
“The Book of Ruth is essentially a modern adaptation of the biblical Book of Ruth brought into the 20th century, and it has been told in the graphic novel format,” said Meredith Finch, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “Ruth’s tale chronicles one family’s journey from poverty, to abundance, into poverty again, and then back to abundance,“ she added.
In addition to comic novels, Meredith also writes a blog focused on spirituality and relationships. Moreover, she has also written stories for some of the comic industry’s most iconic female characters, including Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Rose, Xena, Age of Conan: Valeria, and The Little Mermaid.
